The above is a quote from late comedian John Pinette (Still Hungry, 2011). He was correct on two fronts, 1) Despite the power of Google Search, most of us still don't know what gluten is. 2) Things without gluten historically didn't taste very good.

There is a lot of health information out there on the interweb. We also live in a "self-diagnosing - I know someone who has that - WebMD - I saw this doc on Netflix" world. This section is not prescribing the secret cure or fix for [fill in the blank problem]. We're going to bring together health care providers, nutritionists, trainers, fitness enthusiasts, and people who have personal health experiences and ask them to share their knowledge, expertise, and opinions.

The idea isn't to preach but to share. You might find a recipe that becomes your new favourite. Maybe you discover a fitness book that's just right for you? Or maybe someone's story brings clarity to your own journey. As long as we're happier and healthier in the end, we'll have done our job.
